Channel your energy

Now that you’ve set your priorities and outlined a roadmap aligned with your goals, the next step is to commit your energy and time to bring them to life. This phase is about channeling your efforts purposefully, focusing on actions that drive progress and create balance.
Effective time and energy management allows you to stay grounded and consistent as you work toward each milestone. By setting clear routines, establishing boundaries, and prioritizing self-care, you create the mental and physical space needed to sustain momentum and make meaningful strides. This is where planning meets action, transforming your roadmap from a vision into a tangible reality. As you move forward, remember that your time and energy are valuable resources—when invested wisely, they propel you closer to the person you aspire to be.
To get started, take a look at the themes and goals you previously defined. Setting focus is to align your reality with your aspirations / dreams. Achieving your aspirations, goals or dreams is a matter of allocating your energy and time towards them and setting steps in the realization. Let’s channel your energy on your achievements and positiveness !
Step 1: Reflect on your current time use
Podcast 1*

Gain insight into how you currently spend your time and energy. Write down your typical daily schedule, detail your activities from the moment you wake up until you go to bed. Aim to capture the time spent on various tasks & activities and get into a detailed level such as work, meals, hobbies, commuting, social interactions.

Create a detailed daily schedule: pick a typical day and document your activities from the moment you wake up until bedtime. Include everything: work, tasks, meals, commuting, screen time, chores, relaxation, and any other activities

Check weekly applicability: reflect whether this day’s schedule is similar to how you generally spend your time over the week. Adjust the schedule as needed to create a realistic view of your daily patterns.

Evaluate screen time: review the screen time tracked on your devices. Note the time spent on work-related versus personal activities, and add them in your schedule.

Be honest about how you’re using your time as this reflection will serve as a foundation for intentional shifts.

Compare your current time allocation with your goals to identify alignment and gaps.

  1. Review your roadmap, focusing on the priorities and focus areas you’ve outlined.
  2. Check your daily schedule to see where your time aligns with these goals and where it may not. For instance, ask yourself: Are there areas where I’m dedicating too much or too little time? Are my priorities reflected in my daily actions?
  3. Make a note of any discrepancies between how you’re spending time and what’s needed to achieve your goals.

Look back at your themes and top priorities. Ask yourself:

  • Are my daily activities aligned with these priorities?
  • What could be adjusted to better support my goals?

Identify any areas where time could be redirected towards your goals. For example, if building stronger relationships is a goal, you might prioritize connecting with loved ones during time that would otherwise go to passive activities.

Now that you’ve identified your daily time patterns and goals, the final step is to actively align your time use with your objectives. Look for adjustments you can make in your schedule to bring your activities closer to your priorities.

  • Identify Small Shifts: Determine where minor changes could free up time for what matters. For example, if building resilience is a priority, could you add a brief meditation or exercise routine to your day?

  • Reallocate Screen Time: If you found excessive screen time, consider designating specific “no-screen” periods or using this time to focus on goal-related activities, like learning, connecting with loved ones, or self-reflection.

  • Create Time Blocks for Priorities: Schedule focused periods for each of your main themes, such as dedicated time for relationship-building, personal growth, or creative pursuits. Treat these time blocks as appointments with yourself to prioritize these areas consistently.

By making small, intentional changes, you can ensure your daily routines reflect your goals, helping you stay connected to what’s truly important and keep your focus aligned with your values.
